IDS is proud to recognize the following individuals for advancing into new roles within the organization. Their commitment and impact have made a meaningful difference, and we’re eager to see how they continue to grow and succeed in their next chapter.

Adam Cook, P.E. promoted to Project Manager

Adam came to IDS in June of 2021 with a Mechanical Engineering degree— an adjustment that has given him a unique perspective when taking on projects. He approached his career here at IDS with an openness to learn that has allowed him to both broaden his expertise and better serve Public Works’ clientele. Adam hopes to help the firm further grow as a Project Manager; whether that’s out-of-the-box problem solving or utilizing his experience to better collaborate with other engineers.

Brendan Buckley, P.E. promoted to Project Manager

Brendan began his career journey as an intern at IDS in 2021; he returned to the firm in January of 2022 after a summer of incredible growth in his professional development. Brendan’s goal-oriented nature, positive attitude, and a drive for mastery in his field have led him to success in both the Private Development and Municipal Utility District sectors over the years. His goals under the new title of Project Manager include sharpening his public speaking skills, being a better teacher and leader, and continuing to build positive relationships with our clients.

Chris Gregory, S.I.T. promoted to Survey Production Manager

Chris has been an integral part of IDS’ survey department since his start 20 years ago. His background in the United States Air Force Reserves piqued his interest in the ever-changing world of Surveying. In the years he’s dedicated to the firm, he has brought his adaptability and wealth of knowledge to a wide variety of projects across our service portfolio. Now with his Surveyor-in-Training license under his belt, Chris is looking forward to using his years of expertise to hone the skills of a new class of Survey Coordinators, and completing the qualifications needed for his Registered Professional Land Surveyor license in his new role.

John Hale, P.E. promoted to Senior Project Manager

John joined IDS in the summer of 2019 and has progressed steadily since. He credits this to centering client needs and staying focused on the bigger picture; these two main tenets being accomplished through his “can do” attitude that keeps projects moving forward despite issues. He is really hoping to focus on continued client relationship building and becoming a great manager to his project team in his role as Senior Project Manager.

Jonathan Rizzo, P.E. promoted to Project Manager

Jonathan’s internship with IDS in 2020 brought him right back in June of 2021 as a Design Engineer. His ability to effectively communicate across personality and expertise has taken him far in his career. Jonathan is excited about the personable aspects of his new role—he looks forward to managing project teams, coming into his leadership style, and fostering more client connections.

Hannah Wehlmann, P.E. promoted to Project Manager

Hannah began her career at IDS June of 2021 in Land Development, and a self-starter mindset that allowed her abilities to really shine. Her initiative-driven ambition quickly gained her new opportunities with IDS’ MUD clientele, including client management and project management. With this new role, Hannah would like to dig even deeper into her responsibilities with well-deserved independence; all with her innate talent for anticipating the needs of everyone around her.
