Facilities
The Facilities department at IDS manages design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities in support of our Municipal clients. In tandem with the other departments of IDS, we partner closely with operators of utility districts to understand their unique challenges and tailor our solutions to fit their needs. We pride ourselves on having a team with a diverse background that facilitates a unique perspective around our services.
Our team performs the design of water supply and treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and sanitary sewer lift stations, as well as provides construction phase services for these projects. This process includes reviewing the clients’ needs and/or visiting the facility sites to create and refine the conceptual scopes of the projects, moving that concept into design, and producing construction plans and technical specifications used for construction of the facilities.
We partner with utility districts to provide several services. This can include inspection and maintenance program support, capital improvement planning, monitoring of water and wastewater systems and facilities, maintaining asset management plans, water system modeling, and coordination and support with the operations teams. These services are all conducted with our proven process and the highest of standards.
