Kameron Pugh, P.E.

Director of Water and Wastewater Facilities

Kameron came into the position of Director of Water and Wastewater Facilities through a childhood fascinated by the landscapes around him. Much like his interest in water, his career trajectory flowed from ranch and construction work, to an Environmental Engineering degree, all the way to new challenges that IDS offered. Kameron chose IDS because he felt the firm was filled with like-minded people of exceptional performance and expertise. To Kameron, IDS balanced familiarity and shared values with a strong desire for growth while maintaining integrity. This foundation is what Kameron works to expand upon in his role every day.

Transitioning into leadership was just a natural next step—and he repeatedly proved himself through initiative and risk-taking; always focused on finding solutions for our clients despite regulatory obstacles. As Director, Kameron works in tandem with Project Managers and Facility Operators to manage the design, construction, inspection and maintenance of a range of water and wastewater facilities with his team. He strives to help the young engineers on his team grow; he prides himself on understanding and bringing the best out of people.

Outside of his work at IDS, Kameron is a published author. His research projects in environmental engineering and aqueous chemistry have been published in two peer-reviewed academic journals, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Journal of Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste.

Kameron is a family man who enjoys spending time with his son Easton playing sports, video games, going on camping trips and to concerts. He has a love for music, and when he isn’t engaging in a karaoke session with family and friends, he’s playing one of the several instruments he knows. He also has a flare for the culinary arts, and he loves learning the history and techniques of different cuisines around the world.
