Carlos Jaramillo, RPLS

Director of Surveying

Carlos began his career in surveying in 2013, joining the firm as an intern while completing his studies at Lone Star College. What started as an introduction to the profession through a friend quickly developed into a long-term career. By the end of that first summer, Carlos transitioned into a full-time role, laying the foundation for more than a decade of dedicated service to the firm and its clients.

Carlos later earned his degree in Engineering Technology and Mapping, strengthening both his technical expertise and leadership capabilities. Having spent time in the field early in his career, Carlos brings a well-rounded understanding of projects from start to finish. Today, he plays a key role in client service, proposal development, and quality assurance/quality control, ensuring each project is delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and the highest professional standards. He works closely with internal teams to coordinate efforts and maintain clear communication throughout every stage of a project.

Carlos takes pride in being part of work that leaves a lasting impact. Knowing that his contributions become part of the public record—and may remain for decades—gives him a strong sense of purpose and pride in the profession.

Outside of work, Carlos enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, and making time for family and friends.
