Lindsey Whatley, P.E.
Senior Project Manager

Lindsey has seven years of experience in the planning and design of land development projects containing waterlines, reclaimed waterlines, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, drainage and detention facilities, roadway and trail pavement, electrical duct banks, lift stations, and wastewater treatment plants. Lindsey has also provided engineering services to utility districts within the Houston area.
Lindsey joined IDS in 2018 and has worked on the same team since then, focusing primarily on land development and public infrastructure in support of a 4,000-acre commercial development in Northeast Harris County where she also serves as the district engineer.
As a Senior Project Manager, Lindsey uses her experience and technical knowledge along with standard procedures and regulations to facilitate projects through the phases of feasibility, conceptualization, detailed design, plan production, permitting, bidding, and construction. In addition to managing projects, she dedicates time to mentoring and guiding younger engineers, helping to support their professional development and ensure consistency across project teams.
Beyond her work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
