Travis Sellers, P.E.

Travis is a Senior Vice President at IDS. He is a highly motivated, dynamic, and accomplished leader who has led an impressive career as a civil engineer spanning over three decades.

His experience in engineering design and construction services positions him as a trusted advisor for many public works projects. Travis has completed various water and wastewater projects for numerous cities and municipalities throughout Texas, including planning, designing, and managing drainage and water distribution systems.

Travis’ expertise includes construction operations such as on-site observation for drainage, roadway, and sanitary sewer projects; troubleshooting contractor dispute resolution; negotiating change orders; conducting pre-construction meetings; and producing monthly project status reports. In addition, he is proficient in rehabilitating groundwater storage tanks, wastewater treatment facilities, drinking water transmission pump stations, and lift stations.

Driven by a mission to keep the community moving forward, Travis utilizes his role as SVP by cultivating a positive and collaborative environment amongst his team and clients.

Travis is a proud alum of Texas Tech University, where he received a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is an active member of multiple organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
