IDS served as the civil engineer for this 11.9-acre multi-family apartment complex located in the Energy Corridor District in West Houston. IDS provided due diligence, surveying, platting, and public and private site design services. Private site design services included paving, underground utilities, site grading, drainage, fire protection, and stormwater pollution prevention. Stormwater detention was provided in the adjacent Harris County Flood Control District channel. IDS also prepared a Storm Water Quality Management Plan which included Best Management Practices for stormwater quality control. IDS coordinated with the local Municipal Utility District, Harris County Engineering Department, and Harris County Flood Control District for review and approval. Additionally, IDS prepared public design plans for a median opening with left turn lane on Greenhouse Road for approval by the City of Houston.
