Matt Carpenter, P.E.

Vice President

  • Licensed Professional Engineer, State of Texas
  • Texas A&M University, Bachelor of Science, Agricultural Engineering

As district engineer for several mature utility districts, Matt pushes the envelope to discover new ways to fulfill infrastructure needs. His management of a $2.2 million water booster pump station resolved unsatisfactory water pressure for upscale Royal Oaks — an award-winning, multi-jurisdiction solution that pays for itself. He worked with a team of consultants to design the first phase of the Houston Amateur Sports Park, a soccer complex. The 40-acre project entailed coordinating with three clients as well as concurrent, adjacent projects for the City of Houston and Houston Community College South campus. Matt’s actions after Hurricane Ike demonstrate his professional commitment. Capitalizing on an envious position of constant power in his residence, he commandeered diesel fuel to keep multiple MUDs operating their water systems. The same desire to help others is evident in his multi-year participation in Elves and More, building bikes to brighten the lives of disadvantaged children.
