IDS is eager to introduce Angie Howes, P.E., the newest Senior Project Manager to join our team. She will lead municipal utility district (MUD) and land development projects. Angie has 18 years of experience managing all facets of civil engineering and traffic engineering for MUD and residential/commercial development projects. The key to her work comes down to one word – COMMUNICATION.
Angie’s project role regularly puts her in direct contact with a spectrum of project stakeholders, from MUD boards to the TCEQ, and developers to homeowners. Angie’s commitment to timely and transparent communication makes her an effective consensus builder, able to keep all parties moving toward project goals. This approach carries over to her internal project teams, where she will be responsible for mentoring IDS engineers-in-training. Using a reciprocal “mentoring circle”, she will moderate sessions for all participants to share their respective specialization, growing the knowledge base of the entire team.
Angie earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. She has completed various projects for several large area utility districts, serves as the current Assistant Secretary for Harris County MUD No. 282, and is a member of the Association of Water Board Directors. We are happy to have Angie as part of the IDS team.
